Latinas Helping Latinas -- This group is for Latino women who may need emotional support and guidance in living in the United States. The group will address issues related to self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationships, and the family every Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Family Service, 4050 Executive Park Drive, Suite 404, Cincinnati 45241. There is a sliding fee scale; Medicaid, Medicare, and some insurance are accepted. For more information, contact Noemy Nunez-Bagley, LISW, at 513-354-5747

The Latino Beeper program -- a group of volunteers who are ready to interpret over the phone between any Spanish-speaking victim of a crime and the police officer, 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Latino Beeper cards have been developed for the Hispanic community, thanks to Grupo Xela, the Integrated Hispanic Marketing company and a collaboration of Talbert House Victim Services, Su Casa Hispanic Ministry and Housing Opportunities Made Equal (HOME).
