Did you know? There is a free online resource called the Electronic Prevention Community Organizer (EPrevCo). It helps communities organize online to effectvely implement policy-based alcohol, tobacco, and illicit drug prevention strategies targeting youth. Did You Know? There is a free online alcohol screening tool for adults to investigate? It answers, "How much is too much?" Visit www.alcoholscreening.org to check it out. AlcoholScreening.org is a free service of Join Together, a project of the Boston University School of Public Health. AlcoholScreening.org helps individuals assess their own alcohol consumption patterns to determine if their drinking is likely to be harming their health or increasing their risk for future harm.

Did You Know? Our very own Judge Linda Chezem. (Ret) Indiana Superior Court moderated a session on underage drinking. It is now available online and worth viewing if you are interested in connections, accountability, education, treatment, and research. The Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation (PIRE) and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) are pleased to bring you A Judicial Round Table on Underage Drinking. Prescription for Prevention Website Goes Live
The Ohio Department of Health has launched a new website as part of a comprehensive education and awareness campaign known as ?Prescription for Prevention: Stop the Epidemic,? to combat the epidemic of prescription drug overdose and abuse. The new site provides related statistics, 30 second public service announcements for television and radio, fact sheets on the epidemic, and other useful links and resources.

Alcohol can be a tough subject to discuss with children. It doesn't have to be. The National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices
(NREPP) added the PRIME for Life program to their Web site. PRIME For Life is a motivational intervention used in group settings to prevent alcohol and drug problems or provide early intervention.
